Haiku # 68

Extending my Hand

Is Just Half the Handshake Done.

The Rest needs You too.

The Face of Fire

Burying the Calm Within,
Embracing the Furious Heat,
With a Reputation of Anger,
Nowhere Close to Neat,
The Fire Fights Within
To Save His Face.

Wrestling the Reputation
Of The Furious One,
The One Where None Can Seek Comfort,
None Can Seek a Shoulder to Rest,
The Face of Fire Wrapped In Unrest,
Punches the Wind That Surrounds
To Fuel Its Burns As It Twists, It Turns,
And It Churns All That’s Around
With Every Trick That Could Be Found,
To Show the Watery Facet, the Tiny One,
That is Hidden Layers Beneath.
The Face of Fire Cries,
In The Quest of the Place
To Be a Comforter, To Be the Shoulder.

Haiku # 66

No Matter How Posh,

Shower in Bathroom Can’t Be

At Par with the Rain.

Thinking of You

In The Middle Of a Desert,
When a Solitary Drop Of Water
Would Fall On Steamy Sand
And Vanish In Land,
I’d Be Thinking of You.

Through a Pitch Black Cloud,
When a Streak of Thunder Would
Crash Through and Touchdown
The Petrified Ground,
I’d Be Thinking of You.

Statistics Show that

Dreams of Mine Top the Tally

Of Premature Deaths.

He Denies

With Every Ticking Second
I Drift Away From Him,
Leaving Him Alone To Cry.
Looking At His Obstinacy though,
I Wait. And I Sigh.
As the Child Inside Me
Impishly Denies
When I Ask Him To Die.

Haiku # 64

I am of the Kind

Who’d Not Mind Being Too Kind,

So that Peace I’d Find.

Haiku # 63

Through All the Hatred,

Just Like Fearless Phoenix,

Love Rose from Ashes.

Holding On to the Stick of Hope,
Walking Down the Tight Rope,
Through the Illusion of Belief,
Sieving the Clouds of Grief,
I Tell Myself to Relax.
As a Muscle or Two, I May Flex.
I Presume to Be Winning It All
Who Wants to Lose After All?
Still, I Fail. I Fall.
I Tumble. I Crawl.

Hanging on the Wall,

She Drags You Closer To Death,

A Tick at a Time.

Jack and Jill # 18

Jack: Where were you all this while? I missed you.

Jill: Awww… Really? You did? *eyes flutter*

Jack: Of course, I did. I am so used to you that I felt incomplete.

Jill: Oh, my my! I missed you too. *air kisses*

Jack: Where have you been?

Jill: I was, on a Break, you know! *hair wisp play*

Jack: Oh, I see. You know, I was so bored.

Jill: Oh! So, am I your Entertainment? *fumes* I am. Right?

Jack: Oops. No. No, not in that sense.

Jill: I know all your senses. You scoundrel. *punches*

Jack: Can I ask you something, honey?

Jill: What?

Jack: When are you taking your next “break”? *winks*

Jill: Youuu!! Not before I kill you. *the chase begins*

The Biggest Problems

Turned Tinier Than Tiny

As I Flew Higher.

When I’m Gone

I don’t want to cause pain. I don’t want to remain. I don’t want to depart in parts. I don’t want to linger in hearts.

When I am gone, I want to be gone. Like, really, absolutely, GONE!

And if I know myself, this will happen. Not because you wouldn’t give a damn if I’d be around, or not. But because the moments we have shared should be enough to inspire smiles. My physicality should not be needed. At all. I want it to happen. I know it will happen. I know. Continue reading “When I’m Gone”
